GRACE - Grand Rapids Alternative Corrections Experience

The Grand Rapids Alternative Correctional Experience is intentional about Diversion through Rehabilitative,  Counseling, Mentoring, Training and AfterCare.

Our program model is inclusive of the various components that are often delivered on an individualized bases. Each program participant is involved in the design and implementation of their own PIP (Personal Improvement Plan), thereby giving more ownership and authority in their rehabilitation.

We go beyond the typical service provider by not only offering mental health counseling, but also intentional life skills training for personal development. This is then reinforced through the assigning of a personal "Mentor Match" that builds trust and advocacy through weekly interactions and support.

Each participant is coached through setting up their own PIP (Personal Improvement Plan) to establish goals and set benchmarks for their future success!

Training and development are then provided within the scope of the PIP.

- Social Skills - Communication - Self Evaluation - Awareness - Conflict Resolution

- Anger Management - Restorative Justice - Switching Skills - Employability - Educational Goal Setting...
